Malaysian Woodworking Machinery Association (MWMA)



i)	To promote the general and commercial interests and activities of its member.
ii)	To mediate disputes between its members in a fair and reasonable manner with prior consent of the members concerned.
iii)	To provide members a platform to exchange informations and enhance technical communication.
iv)	To assist and promote "Made in Malaysia" woodworking machinery to the regional and international markets.
v)	To promote R&D and acquisition of technology through joint-ventures with foreign manufacturers and technology transfer programmes.



i)	Disseminates updated information on furniture production and export trend of furniture in the international market.
ii)	Promote and support Aseanwood-Woodtech Malaysia, the premier woodworking exhibition in Malaysia. From 1999, through MWMA, Aseanwood-Woodtech Malaysia had received recognition and endorsement from Eumabois (European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers) and MATRADE (Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation). With this, Aseanwood-Woodtech Malaysia had grown from a national to a regional woodworking show in Asean. The next Aseanwood-Woodtech will be held on September 2011.
iii)	To play a proactive role and to provide continuous support to both the government and its members to attain the status of an industrialised nation for Malaysia by 2020.
iv)	MWMA plans to hold dialogues with local and overseas associations as and when the need arises to exchange ideas and information related to the industry.
v)	MWMA will participate at selected international woodworking exhibition.
